Why should I work with you?

Navigating the multitude of information, as well as, misinformation out there can be extremely overwhelming. I have been diving deep into medical and nutrition information and research to regain my own health for years, and now I’m committed to sharing what I’ve learned to help you on your journey. With a background in nutrition and functional health, I’m here to provide you with the reliable, evidence-based guidance you need to regain your health—without the confusion and uncertainty.  There is no one-size-fits-all plan – everyone is completely different.  So, there is no specific time-frame for healing.

I spend time each week reviewing the latest holistic and scientific information, as well as, evidence-based information to ensure my recommendations are as accurate and effective as possible. I understand how challenging it is to live with a chronic health condition because I’ve been there myself. I know the frustration, the feeling of wanting to give up, and also the moments of feeling completely lost. That’s why I’m here to listen, support you without judgment, and truly care about your well-being.

Everyone deserves a genuine and strong advocate for their health. I’m passionate about providing the right recommendations and educating you on your health journey, while also working to uncover the root cause of your issues. While I cannot promise to have all the answers, I can promise to work with you to find them.

Are your consults online or in-person?

All consults are virtual and done via Zoom, and in some cases by phone.

How much should I expect this to cost?

I do offer a free 20-minute Discovery Call.  This helps determine whether or not we are a good fit for each other, and if my services can be of help to you. My initial consult, specific follow-up appointments, and other services are all listed on my website.

Are any of your services covered by insurance?

Unfortunately, our current healthcare system doesn’t value preventive or functional medicine nor does is cover natural medicine, therefore, my services are not covered by insurance. Please be aware that my consultations are not diagnostic in any nature, therefore, you are not able to submit to insurance or your HSA/FSA for reimbursement.  This also includes any lab tests or kits that are ordered, as well.  My services do not replace your primary medical physician.

How should I prepare before our consultation?

To make sure that our time together is best utilized, you will need to download the Intake Forms, fill all pages out completely, and email them back to me 3 business days before your appointment.  This gives me the proper time to evaluate everything and prepare for your consultation. It is essential that I have a full picture of your health and lifestyle history, and any symptoms you may have been experiencing.  If I do not receive them back in time, you may have to forfeit your appointment and reschedule.  This is purely for your benefit that I get a full picture of why you are seeking my services.

What can I expect during our consultation?

Provided you have emailed me your completed Intake Forms, we will first begin by discussing what you would like help with, your health history, any current or recent symptoms, and most of all your goals. After discussing everything, I will email you with recommendations based on our discussion. We will also go over a time-line, and any follow-up appointments that may be needed.

Can you order or suggest specific lab tests?

During our consultation, I will go over any tests that would be beneficial for you to have done. I can then order them directly to you.  Since I’m not a licensed MD, I am paired with a network of licensed medical physician services that allows me to order labs or  test kits with one of their MD’s approval. Therefore, on lab orders or test kits you will see the approving physician's name. Some tests do not require blood-work, and those I can have shipped directly to your home address.  I will also list any recommended lab work, if any, in my follow-up consult email.

    Will your suggestions involve supplements?

After reviewing any current supplements, herbs or minerals you may be taking, I will make appropriate recommendations. Any recommendations I suggest, are purely recommendations, and can be shared with your primary healthcare practitioner.  Also, any of the brands I recommend are solely based on my personal and independent research, evaluation use of their quality and effectiveness.

How long will it take to see results?

There are no one-plan fits all approach.  The timeline for any results varies, and greatly depends on how committed you are to following the recommendations, and also the complexity of your current state of health. Depending on the specific issue, it could take weeks to a few months to notice improvements. Any questions you have regarding realistic expectations for your specific case can be discussed during the consultation.

I have a complex case; will you be able to help me?

I am not permitted to diagnose your case nor can I cure any long-standing health problem, but I will provide you with a fresh perspective or new direction that you may have not tried before. I will present you with options and suggestions.  It is up to you to decide how dedicated you are to proceed.

Do you collaborate with other healthcare providers?

Yes, I am glad to collaborate and share my recommendations and/or findings with your healthcare providers to ensure a unified approach to your health care. If you have any lab work done, I am also glad to share those results with your primary care provider, as well.

How do I follow up after our consultation?

During our initial consultation we will discuss a timeline for follow-up appointments. I am glad to reassess and refine your health plan as needed.  You are always welcome to book additional sessions through my website.

    Do you offer email support?

Currently, I am not able to provide email support to clients. I do communicate with clients through email by sending information or handouts pertaining to your health plan only.  I will answer an email if you have a brief question about what information I have emailed you.  If you have multiple questions, need make changes to your plan or need additional guidance, please feel free to book a 30 or 60-minute appointment through my website.

How do I know if your approach is right for me?
